For more than 30 years, Frank and Vera put their heart and soul into building Astoria Hotel Gent. Their vision was simple but powerful: to welcome guests as if they were at home, with attention to every detail and warm, personal service. Those values have only grown stronger over the years and still form the beating heart of Astoria today.

Since 2022, brother and sister Jeffry and Tara have been continuing this story. Having grown up among the rooms and corridors of this boutique hotel, Astoria is a second home to them. With respect for the past and a fresh, ambitious view of the future, they bring new ideas without losing the soul of the hotel.

A stay with a personal touch

At Astoria Hotel Gent, you are not a room number, but a person. You can feel this in every detail: from a warm and personal welcome to small attentions and the care with which our rooms are decorated. Every morning starts with a homemade breakfast, prepared with love and many of our own recipes.

In addition, we strive to be as plastic-free as possible throughout the hotel by making small, conscious choices: from breakfast and the Food Corner to our rooms. Recognizing that our children will face major sustainability challenges, we are already making thoughtful choices today for tomorrow.
